Cedarville University’s Solar Splash team is the reigning World Champion of SOLAR SPLASH®- the World Championship of Collegiate Solar Boating for five years now. KSS has been happy to have a small part in their successes and we hope to see the Ohio college team continue its streak in 2020.

Senior Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Tim Dewhurst says, “we are continuing our efforts to return to racing in Europe soon. We are also aiming to be part of the inaugural Toronto Solar Boat Race in 2020. A key part of our success has been the use of our dynamometer of which the donated load cell is an essential component.”
